NC Media is proud to announce that Mr. Bill Oakley (Instagram: @thatbilloakley) has been selected for the NC Media Post of the Year Award 2020.

The NC Media Awards have been introduced to acknowledge the amazing work and results gained by trailblazing content creators in an ever-competitive industry. This award is produced by the industry experts of NC Media Group, whose mission is to mediate between brands, creators and fans around the world.

Known for his work on the comedy series “The Simpsons”, Mr. Oakley has worked on several acclaimed TV series and is one of the most recognized television writers and producers in the US. For his work, he has won multiple Primetime Emmy Awards as well as Writers Guild Award and a Peabody Award.

In addition to his success as a writer and producer, Mr. Oakley built a highly engaged audience through his Instagram account. He has been described by the publication “The Wrap” as “The Gordon Ramsay of Fast Food”.  His great sense of humor makes his videos extremely entertaining to watch while he shares his straightforward impressions of the food he reviews.    

The panel of judges selected Mr. Oakley for this award based his Instagram Story post shared on the 27th of November 2020. The post, which was part of the Nakano Knives holiday campaign, performed best on several indicators which were used to determine the winner. The way the different tiles of the story were cut together, as well as the carefully chosen audio, contributed to the high quality of this Story post.
